There are a few common things to check, the most common being the paper tray.
The paper tray is located at the bottom of each printer. You must pull it out
manually to check and fill it.
If the printer needs paper, there is usually some next to the printer, or check in the
hall next to the copier machine.
You may have to select the backup printer on Malvolio if the default printer TobyB is
not working (and you have already checked the paper tray).
First, make sure both the computer Malvolio (near the door) and the printer next to it
are on (it wouldn't hurt to check if it has paper at the same time).
When you want to print, use the pull-down File menu on the menu
bar, and select Print.
At the top of this new window is a pull-down list called Name. If
you click on the down arrow you will see a list of printers available to you. On
this list should be Malvolio. Select it.
Now your document will print at Malvolio instead of at TobyB.
For more advanced users: If you need to choose Malvolio to
print, and you are planning to print a lot of documents from a variety of applications,
you may want to change your default printer temporarily. Click Start>Settings>Printers.
Left-click once on the Icon for Malvolio (highlighting it), and then File>Set
as Default.
